Q: Have you had a character that disappointed you? One that you fell in love with and then "broke up" with later on in either the series or a stand-alone book? Tell us about him or her.
Hmm, this doesn’t actually sound all that
familiar to me! I think one of the
only characters that springs to mind might be Yeine from N K Jemisin’s
Kingdom of the Gods Universe. That’s just because she was so epic in the first book and knows her own mind, and really fights for her own beliefs and values – and then
you really don’t see much of her again, aside from when she’s doing things that
the other gods expect of her.
Though, it wasn’t so much a break-up as it was a “I-like-you-a-bit-less”.
I’ve seen a lot about Gale from THG this
week, and I agree with those – I’m glad it never became a fully fledged Love
Triangle, I just thought Gale would turn out to be more awesome than he
was!
What about everyone else?

I haven't read Kingdom of the Gods. Sorry it ended up disappointing you. I agree on Gale!!! Thanks for stopping by my FF:)
Hi!
Thanks for stopping by earlier! I haven't read Kingdom of the Gods, but I know what you mean by not really breaking up with a character. I do it on occasion, but some point later I tend to forgive them.

Thank you for stopping by my #FF post :D I haven't read this book yet, I will definitely check it out because you didn't "fully" break up with her lol. I also agree with you on Gale!

Yea... I agree with Gale, too. Although, it's not like it was his fault he wasn't emotionally thrashed by having to kill other kids.
:-D Thx for hoppin' by to say "hi"!!

Hi Tara :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I couldn't agree more about the THG love triangle. I can't tell you how happy I am that didn't happen! I'm team Peeta all the way and never really had any feelings towards Gale.
Nice Post!
Happy Friday!

I've never read Kingdom of the Gods. But with Gale, even though I was a Peeta fan, I wanted Gale to turn out to be someone I was really a fan of too, since I like being torn between two guys. However, he never got there for me.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm an old follower! :)
I haven't read the The Kingdom of the Gods series so I'm not familiar with Yeine. Still, it's always sad when we break up (or like someone less) -- even with fictional characters!
